The message was delivered in Baku by Oman’s non-resident Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Saif Rashid Saif Aljahwari presented a copy of his credentials to Anar Najafli, Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as the non resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Azerbaijan.  

Groups of citizens arriving from countries of the GCC also reached Oman safely through land border crossings.

The meetings took place as part of Oman’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to clarify its position on the conflict in the region.

Oman reaffirms its rejection of any acts that violate the sovereignty of states.

Omani citizens may enter the Republic of Azerbaijan and stay for up to 30 days without a prior visa.

The meeting, discussed developing relations at both the governmental and parliamentary levels.

Mohammed bin Mirza, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the UN and other organisations in Geneva , attended a diplomatic briefing organised by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan on preparations for the convening of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).    

The meeting reviewed opportunities for cooperation in key sectors, particularly energy, renewable energy, trade and logistics.
