Political Undersecretary holds consultations with Ethiopian Ministers

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, met with Dr Muferihat Kamil Ahmed, Minister of Labour of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia; Dr Sofiya Kassa, State Minister at the Ministry of Agriculture; and Abdulhakim Mulu, State Minister at the Ministry of Trade.

The meetings took place on the sidelines of Sheikh Khalifa's official visit to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

The meetings reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in the fields of labour and workforce development, investment, trade exchange and investment in the agricultural sector.

The meetings were attended by Dr Afkar Alfarsi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to Ethiopia, Ambassador Dr Mohammed Albalushi, Head of the Ministry's Africa Department and officials from both countries.
