Oman condemns Israeli Government decision to entrench Gaza occupation

9 August 2025

The Foreign Ministry expresses Oman’s condemnation and unequivocal rejection of the Israeli Government’s decision to entrench its military occupation of the Gaza Strip, its continued violations of international law, its disregard for United Nations resolutions, and its assault on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people without deterrence or accountability.

Oman calls on all countries, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to shoulder their legal and moral responsibilities to end the injustice against the Palestinian people, to take immediate and decisive measures to enable them to restore their legitimate rights, to lift this aggression, and to end the Israeli occupation of their land in accordance with the pre-1967 borders.
