Oman at meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution

The Sultanate of Oman took part in a coordination meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, held at the level of senior officials and special envoys on the question of Palestine and the Middle East peace process. The meeting took place in Riyadh at the invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Oman’s delegation was headed by Dr Khalid Alsaadi, Deputy Head of the Arab Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry.

The meeting discussed several issues, including ways to implement the New York Declaration and a review of US President Donald Trump’s plan concerning the Gaza Strip. It also addressed mechanisms to enhance the delivery of humanitarian aid and support the efforts of the Palestinian Authority.
