Oman and Türkiye forge growing partnership across multiple sectors
The relationship between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye is distinguished by a strong alignment across multiple domains, including diplomacy, economy, military affairs, investment, trade, and culture. This partnership was significantly reinforced by the signing of numerous agreements and memoranda of understanding during His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik‘s state visit to the Republic of Türkiye in November 2024, underscoring a mutual commitment to deepening cooperation in all sectors.
The forthcoming state visit to Oman by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, undertaken at the invitation of His Majesty, marks a significant step in advancing relations and opening new horizons for economic and investment cooperation, reflecting the deep-rooted and close ties between the two nations.
