Oman and Germany review ways to enhance cooperation

The fourth round of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Germany was held in Berlin.

The Omani delegation was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, while the German delegation was headed by Dr Geza Andreas von Geyr, State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office.

The session reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between Oman and Germany across various fields and to expand the partnership between the two countries. Regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed.

The session was attended by Ambassador Munther Mahfoudh Almanthri, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Europe Department, Maitha Almahrouqi, Ambassador of Oman to Germany and various officials from both sides.
