
Minister receives Jordanian Foreign Minister
Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met with Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Oman’s Foreign Minister welcomed the guest and noted the strong and longstanding relations between Oman and Jordan and the support these ties receive from the leaderships of both countries, which contributes to developing and expanding cooperation in various fields.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and ways to broaden them, particularly in the political, economic, educational and tourism fields. The Ministers also discussed opportunities to grow joint investments and strengthen cooperation in food security, logistics and communications in line with the aspirations of both countries.

The Ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments, foremost among them the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories. They called for ending escalation, protecting civilians and intensifying efforts to support the political process and achieve a comprehensive and just solution that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
Ayman Safadi expressed his country’s deep appreciation for Oman’s balanced positions and its constructive role in supporting regional security and stability. He affirmed Jordan’s keenness to enhance cooperation and coordination with Oman on issues of mutual concern.
