Minister receives Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received Majid Takht Ravanchi, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as part of his visit to the Sultanate of Oman to attend the 11th round of political consultations between the two countries.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations, reflecting a shared commitment to developing areas of cooperation and partnership, and to advancing mutual interests in a way that serves the peoples of both Oman and Iran.

The meeting also reviewed regional and international developments, reaffirming the importance of maintaining coordination and consultation on current issues and the importance of supporting all efforts aimed at resolving conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means, thereby contributing to strengthening security and stability and promoting a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
