Minister receives delegation from UK’s Foreign Press Association

Sayyid Albusaidi, Foreign Minister, received a delegation from the Foreign Press Association of the United Kingdom, in the presence of Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information.

During the meeting, Sayyid Badr affirmed the fundamentals of the Sultanate of Oman’s foreign policy and the role of this policy in enhancing efforts for peace and stability in the world. He also outlined Oman’s efforts to attract foreign investments and diversify sources of income.

Dr Al Harrasi, said that the visit of the delegation forms part of a plan being implemented by the Ministry of Information to enhance Oman’s presence in the global arena.

He added that the visit also offers an opportunity to highlight the landmarks of Oman’s civilization and ancient history and to showcase the progress and achievements of the country’s Renewed Renaissance under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
