Minister meets Prime Minister of Kosovo in New York

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met in New York with Albin Kurti, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Prime Minister praised Oman’s efforts in promoting security, peace and peaceful coexistence among nations.

He expressed his country’s interest in benefiting from Oman’s experience and in strengthening practical cooperation in the fields of education, tourism and investment. He spoke of a shared commitment to advancing people-to-people ties, encouraging exchange visits and training programmes, highlighting Kosovo’s attractive investment and tourism climate, sustained economic growth, low tax rates and skilled workforce – all of which support enhanced commercial and economic partnerships and encourage private sector engagement.

The meeting was attended from Kosovo by Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora.

Several officials from both countries were also present.
