Minister meets Iranian counterpart

Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, met with Dr Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The two Ministers took stock of the positive trajectory of relations, noting the encouraging progress across various fields of cooperation that continue to yield mutual benefits.

A substantive exchange of views on regional and international developments followed, with special attention given to ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions and reinforce diplomatic channels for crisis management.

Both Ministers emphasised the critical importance of continued coordination and consultation between their two nations, recognising its vital contribution to entrenching security, stability, and developmental peace throughout the region.
