Minister meets Eritrean Foreign Minister in New York

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met in New York with Osman Saleh Mohammed, Foreign Minister of the State of Eritrea, on the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The two Ministers discussed the existing cooperation between Oman and Eritrea and affirmed their commitment to strengthening it in economic and educational fields, to open new horizons for further partnership opportunities.

They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues, underlining the importance of enhancing consultation and coordination in multilateral forums in support of security, stability and sustainable development.

The meeting was attended by officials from both countries.
