Minister meets Cypriot counterpart in New York

Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, met Dr Constantinos Kombos, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cyprus, on the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Cyprus and ways to advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest that serve both countries.

The Ministers also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues and noted the importance of continued coordination in international forums in support of security, stability and peace.

Officials from both countries attended.
