Minister holds phone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a telephone conversation with Dr Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the call, Sayyid Badr conveyed Oman’s sincere congratulations to Egypt on the election of Dr Khaled El Anany as Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), marking the first time an Arab national has assumed this distinguished international post.

He affirmed that this achievement reflects Egypt’s outstanding scientific and cultural standing and its pioneering role in promoting dialogue and peace, as well as advancing the values of tolerance and understanding among nations.
