Armenia exempts Omani citizens from entry visa requirements

Launch of electronic attestation service in Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania and Philippines

The Ministry is pleased to announce the launch of the eleventh phase of the electronic attestation service in the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of the Philippines, effective from July 10, 2025.

This service aligns with the Foreign Ministry’s commitment to providing high-quality Consular services, supporting the digital transformation goals of Oman Vision 2040, and facilitating procedures through service digitisation. Applicants will no longer need to visit the Sultanate of Oman’s Missions in these countries to obtain attestation services.

The electronic attestation service was launched on January 23, 2025, and currently covers the following countries:

The Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Federal Republic of Germany, the United Kingdom, the Republic of France, the Republic of Austria, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Italy, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Kingdom of Spain, the Portuguese Republic, the Kingdom of Belgium, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the Kingdom of Thailand, Japan, the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Indonesia.

The Ministry will continue to expand the scope of this service to include more brotherly and friendly countries, in phases according to its work plan and in cooperation with Oman Post.
