
His Majesty to participate in the 46th GCC Summit in Bahrain
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will visit the Kingdom of Bahrain this week to participate in the 46th summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
A statement issued by the Royal Court Diwan said:
In response to the gracious invitation extended to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Majesty will visit Bahrain to take part in the forty-sixth GCC Supreme Council session scheduled to be held in Manama on Wednesday, 3 December 2025.
The participation reflects His Majesty’s commitment to meeting his fellow leaders to support the Council’s progress and advance it towards broader prosperity and growth. It also provides an opportunity to discuss matters that reflect the essence of joint GCC action and strengthen its path in light of regional and international developments.
His Majesty will be accompanied by a high-level official delegation that includes Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Khalid bin Hilal Albusaidi, Minister of the Royal Court; Lt Gen Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office; Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi; Sultan Al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority; and Ambassador Sayyid Faisal Albusaidi, Oman’s accredited Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
