His Majesty receives call from President of Türkiye

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a phone call from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Türkiye.

The call addressed the latest developments related to the Israeli military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the worrying repercussions across the region.

The two Leaders also exchanged views on ways to de-escalate tensions and promote calm in a manner that safeguards the security and stability of countries and protects the interests of their peoples.

Both Leaders emphasised the importance of prioritising dialogue and diplomacy, returning to the negotiating table, and adhering to the principles of international law as the most effective path to resolving conflicts and preventing the escalation of crises in the region.
