His Majesty gives audience to Saudi Foreign Minister

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace to Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also conveyed their best wishes for the good health and wellbeing of His Majesty and for further progress and prosperity for the Omani people.

His Majesty in turn asked Prince Faisal to convey his heartfelt sentiments and best wishes for good health and wellbeing to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Majesty also wished the Saudi people further progress and prosperity.

The audience explored prospects for cooperation between the two countries in various fields in light of the meetings of the Oman Saudi Coordination Council and its efforts aimed at strengthening the robustness of relations and consolidating shared interests, in pursuance of the directives of the two countries’ monarchs.

The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; and Ibrahim Saad Bishan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Oman.
