Fifth round of Iran-US talks concludes in Rome

The fifth round of talks were held between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States in the Italian capital, Rome.

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi said that while some progress was made, no decisive outcomes were reached.  “We hope that in the coming days, we can clarify outstanding issues and move forward towards the shared goal of achieving a sustainable and honourable agreement,” he added.

This round of talks pursued the mutual desire by both delegations to pursue peaceful solutions and foster a climate of dialogue to reach an understanding on the unresolved matters between them.
