The meeting discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Omani Saudi Coordination Council.

His Majesty welcomed the Ambassadors, extending his best wishes for their success in fulfilling their duties.

It warned against violations of the sovereignty of Iraq, Syria, and Iran.

Text of speech by Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi at the Extraordinary Joint Arab Islamic Summit.

The summit will address the ongoing Israeli occupation forces’ aggression against Palestine and Lebanon.

In his speech Sayyid Badr said justice is the foundation of peace and accountability is the only way to end the suffering of Gaza and Lebanon.

Abdullah bin Nasser bin Musalam Al Rahbi, Oman’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League and Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, took part in the preparatory meeting of Foreign Ministers for the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh. The meeting aims to address the political and humanitarian dimensions of the ongoing crises in Lebanon and Palestine.

Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said, met Engineer Bandar bin Ibrahim Al Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi National Industrial Development Centre.

Minister Hamad bin Ali Al-Hajri attended the meetings of the 46th session of the Islamic Committee for Economic, Cultural and Social Affairs. The meetings are part of the ongoing preparations for the 50th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers which is scheduled to be held in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

Sayyid Faisal bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said, Oman’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, met with Awwad Dasouqi, CEO of the Saudi Fisheries Company. During the meeting, they reviewed commercial opportunities in the fisheries sector and ways to develop trade and investment between Oman and Saudi Arabia. The meeting was attended by Al Ayham Al Ghassani of the Oman Investment Authority.

The Sultanate affirmed the right of peoples to resist occupation and the right to self-determination.

The Royal Decrees include Foreign Ministry appointments to international bodies.

The meetings took place during Sayyid Badr’s participation in the Munich Security Conference.

Oman’s Consul General to Saudi Arabia, Salim Mohamed Khalifa Al Busaidi, met with the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Province, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz. They had cordial talks and discussed topics of common interest.
