The call discussed the current escalation in the region, agreeing on the importance of efforts to stop the Israeli US war on Iran.

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Malaysia took part in the Malaysian Muslim Festival in cooperation with the Omani Research and Studies Centre. A presentation highlighted Omani ethical values and introduced visitors to investment opportunities in Oman.  

Sheikh Alabbas Alharthi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Kuala Lumpur, attended the countdown event for the launch of the Visit Malaysia 2026 programme. The event took place under the theme “Extraordinary Experiences”, and was held under the patronage of Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Oman’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Sheikh Alabbas bin Ibrahim Alharthi, met with Dr Ridzwan Bakur, CEO of Yayasan Waqaf Malaysia, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, cooperation in endowments between Oman and Malaysia was discussed.

They discussed investment and business opportunities in the poultry and egg sectors between Oman and Malaysia.
