Dr Ahmed Mohammed Said Alsaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Lebanon, met Lebanon’s Minister of Telecommunications, Charles Hage. They reviewed aspects of bilateral cooperation, discussed ways to develop technical partnerships and exchange expertise in the field of telecommunications, and considered various topics of mutual interest that contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries.

Dr Ahmed Mohammed Said Alsaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Lebanon, met with Lebanon’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Nora Bayrakdarian. They discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in youth and sports, exchanging expertise between the two countries and supporting joint initiatives and projects in the sports and youth development sectors.

During the meeting the Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

Oman’s Foreign Minister said the Palestinian cause was a central topic of their discussions.

The discussions addressed regional and international issues and developments.

The Council condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Syria and Lebanon.

The GCC leaders commended the efforts of Oman and Saudi Arabia to revive the political process in Yemen.
