The meeting focused on ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, particularly with the coastal city of Mombasa. Nasra Salim Mohamed Alhashmi, Oman’s Ambassador to Kenya, received a delegation from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during their visit to the Republic of Kenya. The delegation was led by Zaher bin Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the OCCI branch in Al Buraimi Governorate. The meeting discussed trade and investment opportunities between Oman and Kenya.

Kenya has introduced an Electronic Travel Authorisation system which will impact Omani visitors. All Omani travellers, regardless of age, must obtain a permit before travelling.
