Ambassador Rawa bint Issa Al Zadjali, head of Oman’s Mission to the European Union, met with Stefano Sannino, Director General for the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf at the European Commission. They discussed relations between the Sultanate and the European Union and ways to enhance those relations, in a way that serves common interests and supports cooperation.

Experts from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources also held meetings in Europe to discuss Omani fish exports.

Rua Issa Ashraf Alzadjali, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Belgium and to the European Union, received Ambassador Dr Jawad Al Hindawi, Head of the Mission of the Arab League to the European Union, on the occasion of his assuming his duties.

Oman and the EU stressed the importance of a ceasefire in Gaza and enabling the delivery of humanitarian aid.

They discussed the situation in Gaza and agreed on priorities to prevent escalation and end the conflict.
