The meetings reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in different fields.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and exchanged views on issues of common interest.

Ambassador Dr Afkar Alfarsi, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission in Addis Ababa, and Oman’s Observer to the African Union (AU), met with Mohamed El Amine Souef, Chief of Staff at the African Union Commission to discuss strengthening Oman-AU relations and to explore areas of mutual interest.

A delegation from the  OQ Trading Company, headed Said Al Maawali, Executive Director for the Middle East, visited Addis Ababa. The delegation met with Dr Sofia Kassa, State Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture for Agricultural Investment and Input Supply Development.
