Oman’s Ambassador to Kenya, Nasra Salim Mohamed Alhashmi, attended the 21st International Development Association (IDA) African Heads of State Summit held in the capital, Nairobi. The summit was attended by a number of African Presidents and Ambassadors of countries accredited in Kenya.

Oman’s Ambassador to Algeria, Saif Nasser Rashid Al Badaai, visited the University of Algiers 3 to meet with its director, Professor Khaled Rawski, his deputies, deans of colleges and the director of the institute. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation in higher education and scientific research between Oman and Algeria.

Khaled bin Salem Bamakhalif, Oman’s Ambassador to Morocco met with Abdullah bin Malouk, Director of Multilateral Cooperation and Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad. The meeting discussed bilateral economic cooperation.

Omar Alkathiri, Oman’s Ambassador to Spain received Ramon Calderon, former President of Real Madrid football club, in the presence of Deputy Head of the Mission Nayef bin Hilal Alshamsi. The meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of sports.

Ahmed Alaraimi Oman’s Ambassador to France and Dr Fatima Al Ajmi along with a delegation from the Supreme Medical Council held consultations with representatives from the French Ministry of Health and several French universities and hospitals. The meeting discussed cooperation regarding the training of Omani doctors in France.
