Oman’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi, received Mamadou Sow, head of the regional delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross to the Gulf Cooperation Council. They discussed the international relief efforts of the Red Cross and Mr Sow thanked Oman for its work in Gaza and other regions.
The Omani Foreign Ministry took part in a conference in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to formulate approaches towards combating drugs in Southeast Asia. The conference discussed enhancing cooperation, exchanging expertise, learning from international experiences in the field of combating drugs and psychotropic substances.
Oman’s Embassy in Manila says the procedures apply to both visitors and those in transit.
The message was delivered to the Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Arab Department by the Syrian Ambassador.
A statement said full membership was the only way to end the conflict in the Middle East.

Oman’s delegation participated in the senior staff preparatory meetings for the fifteenth session of the Islamic Summit Conference in the Republic of the Gambia. The theme of the conference is: “Promoting unity and solidarity through dialogue for sustainable development.”
Matters of common interest were discussed and bilateral relations reviewed.
