Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Altowaiya, Oman’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation took part in a meeting held by the Governor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, of the heads of missions of Islamic countries to Russia, under the theme “Russia and the Islamic World, Kazan 2024”.
They reviewed regional and international developments, especially in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The message was delivered in Muscat by the Foreign Minister of Algeria.
The event launched a commemorative logo symbolising the strength of diplomatic ties between Oman and South Korea.
The meeting discussed the necessity of ending the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.
