Dr Ali is an academic and researcher at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences and a consultant in business administration, tourism and sustainability with over twenty years’ experience. He has a PhD in Tourism Management and Development from the University of Exeter, UK.

His research focuses on strategic planning, destination management, sustainability, human resource development, and entrepreneurship. He has published several research papers and presented his work at specialised local and international conferences.

Dr Ali is active in several prestigious organisations, including the Environment Society of Oman, World Tourism Association for Culture and Heritage, and the Green Destination Organisation.
