Born in 1962 in Moscow.

In 1985 he graduated from the International Law Faculty of MGIMO of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In 1991 – full-time postgraduate study at the Institute of Africa of the USSR Academy of Sciences; candidate of political sciences.

In diplomatic service since 1994. Worked in various positions in the central office of the Ministry and abroad:
in Egypt (1995-1999), Lebanon (2003-2007) and Yemen (2009-2013).

From 2015 to 2018 – Minister-Counselor of the Russian Embassy in Jordan.

From 2019 to 2022 – Consul General of the Russian Federation in Erbil, Republic of Iraq.

Since February 2024 – Deputy Director of the Department of the Middle East and North Africa of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated October 8, 2024 No. 859, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Sultanate of Oman.

He holds the diplomatic rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the 2nd class.

Speaks Arabic, English and French.

Married, has an adult son.
