Oman’s Ambassador to Tanzania, Saud bin Hilal bin Saud Al Shaidhani, met with the CEO of Air Tanzania, Engineer Ladislaus Matindi. They discussed enhancing cooperation and developing trade in the field of transport and air freight. Three direct flights between Tanzania and Oman are planned to stimulate economic activity between the two countries.

Zimbabwe’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Frederick Shava, met Ambassador Jassim bin Eid Al-Saadi, Head of the Consular Department at the Foreign Ministry. They discussed relations between Oman and Zimbabwe and the common desire to enhance cooperation.

Oman took part in the third conference of the Arab Network of Justice Inspection Services in Tangier. The Sultanate was represented by Yaqoub Mohammed Al Saidi, Supreme Court Judge and Head of the Directorate General of Judicial Inspection.

The Sultanate of Oman and Tunisia have signed an air services agreement. The agreement allows airlines to operate any number of direct flights between the two countries and regulates operational and technical aspects to serve the interests of both countries in the field of air transport services.

Oman’s Ambassador to Spain, Omar Said Omar Alkathiri, delivered a lecture to master’s degree students at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies at the Abat Oliba CEU University. The Ambassador spoke about Oman’s role in regional affairs as part of series of lectures organised by the Institute.
