The third meeting of the Foreign Ministry’s Legal Committee for 2026 was held under the chairmanship of Saleh bin Yahya bin Masoud Almaskari, Head of the Ministry’s Global Affairs Department, with the participation of representatives from member government entities.

During the meeting, held at the Diplomatic Club, the Committee reviewed the preliminary draft of Oman’s national report on the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, as well as the plan to follow up on the implementation of recommendations made to Oman under the Universal Periodic Review.
