Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, received Pierre Krähenbühl, Director General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva.

The meeting reviewed political and humanitarian developments in the region and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.

Discussions also covered cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the Sultanate of Oman and the ICRC, as well as ways to strengthen partnership and coordination.

The meeting was attended by Abdullah Mohammed Said, Head of the ICRC Mission in Oman.
