Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a telephone call this evening with Iran’s Foreign Minister Dr Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.

The Ministers discussed the latest regional developments and ways to create favourable conditions for the resumption of dialogue and negotiations.

They explored ways to bring perspectives closer together and reach peaceful solutions to outstanding issues that take into account the interests of all parties.

The Ministers also discussed developments concerning navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. They underlined the importance of continuing discussions to reach practical understandings that support the resumption of freedom of navigation and smooth trade flows, as well as regional security and stability.
