Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received a telephone call today from Dr Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The call reviewed the latest regional developments and exchanged views on efforts to support sustainable and fair political solutions that contribute to strengthening security and stability in the region.

The Ministers affirmed their commitment to ensuring the security and freedom of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, in accordance with their sovereign responsibilities over their territorial waters, in line with international law and in a manner that safeguards the interests of all regional and international parties.
