For generations, Musallam’s family has cultivated the frankincense trees of Dhofar, Oman’s southern governorate. Having lived among the trees since childhood, Musallam now combines ancestral wisdom with contemporary conservation through his role planting new saplings, harvesting large quantities of frankincense, and providing treatments to protect and nurture the trees.

Today, Musallam’s family is partnered with leading perfumery Amouage, to care for the frankincense trees of Oman and ensure they thrive for generations to come.
