Faisal started at OQ, Oman’s energy investment company, in Sohar as a business training specialist, and eventually took on the challenge of relocating to Dubai with OQ Trading. His current role is to identify, evaluate, and develop implementable clean energy solutions. Pragmatism is central to his approach, and he sees himself as a clean energy realist.

Faisal spends his free time on outdoors adventures. His passion for travel is fuelled by food, and he explores cultures one dish at a time to understand how the history, society, and stories of a place influence its cuisine.
