British-born Dina is a proud ambassador of Omani culture through culinary art and the author of Bahari, the first globally published Omani cookbook. She has gained international acclaim including from the Washington Post and the Jane Grigson Trust Award.
Drawing from her Omani Zanzibari heritage and Oman’s rich and diverse maritime history, Dina’s cuisine blends flavours from the Middle East, East Africa, Iran, and South Asia. Through her platform, Dine with Dina, she advises global brands, contributes to publications like Condé Nast Traveller and Wanderlust, and presents programmes such as BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen.
