Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi has welcomed the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, saying that the world has stepped back from disaster.

But writing on the X social media platform he adds that there is no room for complacency. “Serious negotiations are now required for a lasting peace,” he says

“Oman will support this work for the vital and urgent purpose of strong and enduring regional security,” he adds.
