Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a meeting this evening with Ambassadors to the Sultanate of Oman of the member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The meeting formed part of ongoing diplomatic efforts addressing the war waged by Israel and the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Discussions focused on its serious repercussions for the region, the need to halt the conflict and contain the escalation, and the impact on regional security and stability.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz Alhinai, the Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador at large and Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs.
