His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received telephone calls today from Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania and Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation.

During the calls, they exchanged views on developments in the ongoing war in the region and its repercussions for the security and stability of states and their peoples.

They also affirmed the importance of addressing the crisis with wisdom and foresight through a ceasefire, de-escalation and a return to dialogue to find political and diplomatic solutions.
