Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held intensive communications with his counterparts in brotherly and friendly countries.

These discussions addressed the rapidly evolving regional situation in light of the Israeli-American war on the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the resulting dangerous repercussions affecting the security and stability of countries in the region.

During these calls, the Minister affirmed the Sultanate of Oman’s concern regarding the attacks targeting the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and brotherly Arab countries.

Sayyid Badr noted that continued military escalation does not help resolve the ongoing conflict. He emphasised the necessity of addressing the root causes of the conflict while halting military operations and containing the crisis and its impact on nations of the region.

All parties emphasised the need for an immediate cessation of all escalatory actions and the need for respect for state sovereignty and the principles of international law. They stressed the importance of exercising restraint, prioritising dialogue and diplomacy, and returning to political paths.
