Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a phone call with Ignazio Cassis, Vice President of the Federal Council and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation.

Sayyid Badr expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts undertaken by the Swiss government in facilitating logistical arrangements and creating suitable conditions for the consultations and meetings related to the US–Iran negotiations currently hosted in Switzerland under Omani auspices.

The Ministers discussed the ongoing mediation efforts and reviewed their trajectory towards achieving their shared objectives. They commended the spirit of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Switzerland and affirmed their commitment to continue work together to serve mutual interests, to support stability efforts and strengthen regional security.
