Minister: significant progress in US–Iran negotiations

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi has confirmed that the round of negotiations between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which concluded today in Geneva, achieved significant progress.

He said the talks will resume after consultations in the two capitals. Technical discussions will take place next week in Vienna.

He expressed his thanks to all concerned for their efforts, including the negotiators, the International Atomic Energy Agency and the host Swiss government.
