The Sultanate of Oman will host the Oman-Cebu Investment Forum in Muscat this week. The forum serves as a joint economic platform between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of the Philippines, aiming to expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation and strengthening economic and investment relations between the two countries.

The first forum, held in July 2025 in Cebu City, Philippines, was jointly organised by the Foreign Ministry and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the relevant Philippine authorities.

That session focused on exploring investment opportunities in several promising sectors, including tourism, renewable energy, technology, and food security. It also organised field visits to Philippine economic zones aimed at exchanging expertise and promoting mutual investments.

The convening of this week’s forum in Muscat reaffirms a shared commitment to strengthening cultural, commercial, tourism, and investment ties, and to empowering economic partnership by providing an attractive environment for exchanging ideas and building effective partnerships between various sectors in Oman and the Philippines.
