His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will begin a State Visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan on Monday.
The Diwan of Royal Court issued the following statement:
“To strengthen the bonds of friendship between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in response to the gracious invitation extended to His Majesty by President Kassym Jomart Tokayev, His Majesty will, by the will and grace of Almighty Allah, make a State Visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan from October 5 to 6, 2026.
During the visit, all areas of cooperation will be discussed with the aim of advancing bilateral relations to levels that fulfil the desired objectives across all fields and achieve outcomes that serve the shared interests of both countries.
His Majesty will be accompanied by a high-level official delegation comprising His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority; Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Ambassador Sheikh Dr Salah bin Salim Jaaboub, Oman’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
