Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, received Jonathan Burke, Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing at the US Treasury , at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat.

The meeting reviewed relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United States and explored ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination in areas of mutual interest.

It also exchanged views on issues of common interest and discussed current regional developments.

The meeting was attended by Ana Escrogima, the US Ambassador to Oman and officials from both countries.
