Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held talks at the Foreign Ministry with Bakary Yaou Sangaré, Niger’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Nigeriens Abroad.
The Ministers reviewed cooperation between Oman and Niger and discussed opportunities to expand trade and economic partnership.
They agreed to advance a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding to promote greater engagement between the public and private sectors, boost trade and investment, strengthen capacity building, and serve the interests of both countries.
The Ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, reaffirming the importance of continued consultation and coordination.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Dr Mohammed Al Balushi, Head of the Africa Department, along with officials from both countries.
