His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik held a telephone call with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

During the call, His Majesty expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Emir on the passing of his father, the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. His Majesty also extended his condolences to the Al Thani family and the people of Qatar.

His Majesty prayed that the late Emir be granted mercy and forgiveness.

The Emir expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for his condolences, sympathy and sincere fraternal sentiments.
