Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a telephone call with Dr Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Ministers discussed the latest regional developments and affirmed the need to halt the military escalation and work towards political and peaceful solutions that take into account the interests of all parties.

They also underlined the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation, the smooth passage of commercial shipping, and the uninterrupted flow of energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz, in accordance with international law.
